Black Magic Grilled Shrimp

BLACKENED GRILLED SHRIMP

We like to eat food with our hands and grilled shrimp is one of our favorites. These Black Magic Shrimp are easy to cook, feeds a crowd and is different than your standard buffalo item. Be sure to have some napkins nearby!

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb Raw Shrimp in shell, tails on, deveined
½ bottle of Blonde Beard’s Black Magic
¼ stick of Butter

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Marinate shrimp in Blonde Beard’s Black Magic. (1-2 hours)
  2. Preheat grill to 500 degrees or searing temperature.
  3. Place a cast iron skillet or grilling pan in the middle of the grill.
  4. Melt butter in the skillet.
  5. Pour marinated shrimp (including marinade) into the skillet.
  6. *Remove and place shrimp individually around the grill.
  7. *Cook 1-2 minutes. Flip. Cook additional 1-2 minutes. Shrimp are done when white and orange in color and no longer translucent. Careful not to overcook.
  8. Remove from grill and place in the saucy cast iron skillet.
  9. Cook about 2 more minutes.
  10. Remove and serve in the cast iron skillet.
  11. Now get your hands dirty and devour!

* We like to do this part in a continuous circular motion without stopping. Because shrimp cook so fast, by the time you lay all of them down the first ones are ready to flip. Lay the shrimp down clockwise, flip clockwise, remove clockwise.
